Hosting Solutions

Hosting a website requires special technical expertise and equipment. In order to meet the various needs of my clients, I provide several options below for managed hosting.

Domain Management. As an added service to my hosting clients, I offer to maintain your domain name in my domain management account, with an up-to-date credit card on file for auto-renew.

You also benefit from domain Private Registry. By law, the owner each domain must provide contact information as public record, including your e-mail address. This is a common source of spam to your e-mail address. Private Registry means you don't have your contact info as public record. Click here for more info.

Standard Hosting Plan: $20/month*

The standard hosting plan is for brochure style websites that are comprised of text, images, graphics and links. I offer this service at this low rate because it makes minimal demands of server resources dedicated to hosting. This plan includes the hosting of your website and e-mail addresses.

 

*Payment Options:

  • Paid annually = $20/month = $240/year.
  • Paid monthly = $20/month. Your credit card will be billed automatically each month.

 


Premium Hosting Plan: $35/month*

Premium hosting is for websites that require more technical resources to run their websites properly. Examples include websites with databases, multiple videos or other website features that require additional processing resources and speed to deliver the website content. This plan includes the hosting of your website and e-mail addresses.

 

*Payment Options:

  • Paid annually @ $35/month = $420.
  • Paid monthly = $40/month. Your credit card will be billed automatically each month.

 


E-Commerce Hosting Plan: $100/month

E-Commerce hosting is more complicated and requires more resources to keep your site secure, updated, and running efficiently. This hosting plan includes the following:

  • Website and e-commerce hosting;
  • E-mail hosting;
  • Shopping cart software maintained and updated as new updates become available. (Update value is $69/yr., plus cost of integration $300+);
  • **SSL Certificate required to inform your on-line customers that they are visting a secure site for their on-line transactions. (Basic SSL Certificate valued at $79/yr. );
  • Dedicated IP address required for SSL security ($60/yr value).

 

Payment Options:

  • $100/month. Your credit card will be billed automatically each month.
  • Invoices can be sent quarterly ($300), semi-annually ($600), or annually ($1200) by request.

 

SSL Certificate Notes

  • ** Basic SSL Certificate included in the e-commerce hosting plan. You can choose to upgrade your certificate at any time, for the additional cost of your chosen certificate and the time for me to implement the changes. SSL certificates can cost up to $1,499/yr for the greatest level "security". In reality, spending more does not mean your site's content is more secure, just that your visitors have greater assurance of your site's authenticity, and in addition you get a larger dollar amount of warranty from the certificate issuing company.

 

Domain Management.

Domain renewals are at $12/year.

As an added service to my hosting clients, I offer to maintain your domain name in my domain management account, with an up-to-date credit card on file for auto renew, and a current e-mail address on file for contact.

You also benefit from domain Private Registry. By law, the owner each domain must provide contact information as public record, including your e-mail address. This is a common source of spam to your e-mail address. Private Registry means you don't have your contact info as public record. This is because I have one of my e-mail addresses on file for you. Private Registry is an added cost for most domain registries.

This ensures that you do not lose your domain name when it comes up for renewal due to either an out of date credit card expiration date on file and/or a change of e-mail contact information used to contact you about the domain renewal.

You always have the option to create your own account and manage your domain on your own. This service is simply an extended option for those who may not want to deal with the extra effort of keeping track of their domain name by having me do so for them.

Domain renewals are at $12/year.

For convenience, I recommend renewing for 3 or more years at a time, as long as you feel confident that you will continue to want to own the domain name. - return to top
